Establish the non-negotiables that shape the way you serve, support and show up for your clients.
Your core tenets go deeper than taglines or values β they are the standards you hold yourself to, the way your work feels to those who engage with you, and the promises that underpin your brand experience.
Your core tenets create clarity and alignment by acting as a personal checklist for every decision you make. Whether you're creating a new offer, writing a post, or working with a client, they help you gut-check:
π Does this reflect how I truly want to show up?
π Am I delivering on what I promise through my work?
When in doubt or feeling scattered, you can return to these tenets as your north star to ensure your business stays in integrity with your values and vision.
This activation will help you articulate your personal or brand tenets in a way that creates clarity β both for yourself and for others.

No prior strategy work needed.
Materials:
Pen & Paper
Step 1: Reflect on Your Role
π Prompt: What do people consistently say they get from working with you?
(e.g. "You make things feel doable," "You always see me and my unique path," "You blend strategy and soul so well.")
Write down 3β5 reflections or themes you often hear. You can pull these from your vision holder folder activation if youβve done that
Step 2: Identify Your Commitments
π Prompt: What promises do you make (either explicitly or implicitly) every time you work with someone?
(e.g. "Iβll make this practical," "Iβll meet you where you are," "Iβll blend strategy with intuition.")
List out 3β5 of these core commitments.
Step 3: Draft Your Tenets
π Prompt: For each commitment above, turn it into a clear statement like this:
I [action or commitment] because [reason why this matters].
Example:
I give practical and tangible next steps because leaving inspired is great β but real change happens when you know exactly what to do next.
Write 3β5 tenets using this format.
Step 4: Add Context + Color
π Prompt: For each tenet, add a few sentences or an example to bring it to life.
Example:
"I meet you where you are" β We are all on different journeys, and my services reflect that. Whether you need hands-on guidance or light-touch support, I adapt so that it feels right for you β not forced.
Flesh out each tenet until it feels clear, authentic, and true to how you operate.
Step 5: Reflect and Refine
π Prompt: Do these tenets feel like they would guide you through tough decisions, client interactions, and new offers?
If not, refine them until they feel solid and non-negotiable. Sometimes this means simplifying them so that they arenβt tied to a specific offer or act.
